It was a first for Kaye - and though it too much convincing to make Kavi join her - she was slightly disappointed. It was the first horse auction she'd ever been too. Kaye looked around at the small turn out, a feeling of disappointment. Though that disappointment turned into somewhat relief as she had a look at the drafts in the auction. "Oh wow, they're gorgeous!" Kaye clung to the side of the fence, looking excitedly at the horses in the ring that were about to be up for auction. Kavi rolled his eyes at her, pulling her off the fence and into his arms for a cuddle. She giggled, holding onto his arms while they waited for the auction to start.

An hour later and Kaye had successfully bought three horses - much to Kavi's dislike but he tolerated it. Though, for two of the horses she was the only bidder, one ended with a small bidding war. After paying for the horses and filling out paper work, Kaye looked over each of them. One of them was a rare reverse brindle perlino, she was surprised when she was the only bidder. As she petted him, the stallion nuzzled her with his big head. Kaye smiled and rubbed his face, looking at his beautiful blue eyes. Sighing, she moved onto the other horses and got them loaded into the trailer. There was no time to waste, it was a long drive back home.

Kavi shook Kaye awake, she'd fallen asleep in the passenger seat during the drive. Groggy, Kaye barely realized the truck wasn't moving and that they were parked outside the barn. It took a few minutes, but eventually Kaye was awake enough to unload the horses and get them into their stalls.

They had recently bought more land and changed the pasture layout, now there was more runs for the stallions. There had been a drizzle of rain over night, so the pastures were full of puddles. As Kaye lead Tiger out into the pasture, he made it a point to step in every puddle along the way - splashing Kaye in the meantime. By the time she let him free, she was soaking wet. Shivering, she trudged into the house and stripped off her wet clothes at the door - much to the amusement of Kavi.

Later that day

Well it seemed that it wasn't quite done raining yet. It was still partly blue out - but as the rain pelted down the clouds started to take over the sky. The first, of what was likely to become more, rumbles of thunder sent some of the horses off - mainly Kushado and Keri.

As Kaye and Kavi rushed about to bring the horses in, one horse stayed where he was. With most of the other horses in, Kaye turned her attention to the big stallion.

"Come on Tiger, time to go inside," she patted his side, gently pushing him towards the barn. He bent his head down to nuzzle her. "Nu uh, you'll get petted when you go inside, now come on!" Kaye persisted, but with his weight she was no match.

It took tempting him with his favourite food to finally get him to come in. They now know when it's going to rain cause Tiger watches the sky and is nearly impossibly to bring inside.
